Wednesday 19 November: DreaMR (Dreaming with Mixed Reality) return to Durham with their dizzying fusion of art, music and consciousness science.

Tuesday 25 November: the Bozzini Quartet of Montreal premiere of James Weeks’ major new work, ‘weatherworld quartets’.

Wednesday 21 January: virtuoso harpsichordist Jane Chapman gives the UK premiere of Richard Rijnvos’ major new work with film.

Friday 23 January: Royal Northern Sinfonia, directed by dynamic violinist Maria Włoszczowska, return for an evening of music packed full of wit, sparkle and passion.

Tuesday 17 February: Musica Antica Rotherhithe play music from Venice’s mid-seventeenth century public theatres, much of which has lain unperformed for over 350 years.

Friday 8 May: For their final visit of the season, the Royal Northern Sinfonia bring two Viennese Classical masterworks to Durham.
